History

Bradex began in 1978 with Ed Gres, BEng, MBA. With abundant industry knowledge from previous positions, Ed started Bradex with surplus equipment and chemical sales and has since expanded to becoming a full-service broker in raw material supplies in agricultural and chemical markets, also providing consulting services to its strategic alliance partners.

The Bradex team now brokers / supply commodity chemicals such as phenol, methanol, urea, plus caustic to formaldehyde and phenolic resin. In Canada we sell under our Canadian Company, Bradex Industrial Services Limited.  In the United States we operate through our Louisiana Corporation, Bradex, Inc.

Bradex, Inc. has its Louisiana office in Lockport LA, associated with Valentine Chemicals, Inc.  Valentine had operated its Lockport Thermosets phenolic operation here for many years, but at present that business has expanded to custom drying, compounding, and spray drying.  There are environmental licenses and permits in place. Hugh Caffery, president of Valentine, is Bradex's associate. We are looking for additional opportunities.

Bradex provides business development, raw material supplies, and consulting services to its strategic alliance partners.  In some cases we convert by-products to first class products at the source.  We currently work for/with suppliers and Strategic Associates.  Bradex's business is mainly in fertilizer inputs but also deal in chemical by-products, feed inputs, and in salt.  In addition we have a number of distributor, granulator, and blending customers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Bradex, Inc. is insured, profitable, and experienced in dangerous goods
